The company M.A. takes over the Zonzons, to propose shows of Guignol and puppets of all kinds. They are artists, puppet researchers of all kinds, from yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
In the heart of Vieux Lyon, in the Saint Paul district, the 'Guignol de Lyon' puppet theatre brings 300 puppets to life, that have been passed on from generation to generation through the descendants of the creator of Guignol, Laurent Mourguet. Puppeteers, technicians, costume designers, decorators, authors etc all come together to bring Guignols story to life.
